Oxytocin Injection (synthetic) contains 20 U.S.P. units of Oxytocin activity per ml in a clear colourless aqueous solution. The clinical and pharmacological properties of Oxytocin Injection (synthetic) are identical with those of the natural product. It may be used;- To evacuate tissue and debris from the uterus in cases of pyometra or endometritis- To arrest post-partum uterine hemorrhage - To treat agalactia in sows and cows - To aid in evacuation debridement and drainage in mastitis |
