An emulsifiable concentrate containing in each litre 100 g of Cypermethrin High-Cis. Cypermethrin consists of eight different isomers and these can be grouped into two groups the cis-isomers and the trans-isomers. The cis-isomers are the more active group being considerably more effective than the trans-isomers. Ecofleece contains high-cis Cypermethrin which has a ratio of 80% of the more potent cis-isomers. This has twice the activity of Cypermethrin which normally only contains 40% of cis-isomers. As a synthetic pyrethroid emulsion Ecofleece is better tolerated than organophosphate compounds meaning that it can for example be used in the treatment of mites in poultry. It is effective against most of the important ectoparasites in animal husbandry including one-host ticks multihost ticks cattle mange nuisance and biting flies sheep scab sheep lice and poultry mites. It also provides protection against parasitic fly larvae such as screw-worm grubs or blow flies. |
