A very highly concentrated suspension of Cephalexin and Dihydrostreptomycin in an oily base suitable for the treatment of mastitis in lactating cows. Each 9 g syringe contains; Cephalexin BP equivalent to 500 mg of Anhydrous Cephalexin and Dihydrostreptomycin Sulphate BP equivalent to 500 mg of Dihydrostreptomycin. This product is particularly indicated in the treatment of sub-clinical mastitis. Somatic cell counts in the treated animal will quickly return to normal levels allowing cows which would otherwise be culled to rejoin the milking herd.
